The Haiti Market Analysis reports provide research on the livelihoods, markets and food assistance contexts in four departments of Haiti: Centre, Grand’Anse, Nord-Est, and Sud. Their ultimate objective is to offer insights relevant to the planning of food security activities and related analyses.
Two reports available are the north report, covering Centre and Nord-Est departments and the south report, covering Grand’Anse and Sud.
The reports are structured along three main areas:
- General socioeconomic, climatic, infrastructure, and policy contexts in the departments of interest.
- Market context for key staple foods.
- Food assistance context and key lessons learned both from food assistance programming.
